Kylee Brant, LCMFT, RPT-S
FOUNDER
Kylee is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, graduating from Friends University in Wichita, KS, with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Previously, she attended Wichita State University and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Counseling.
She strives to help children and families connect more deeply throughout her work. She clinically treats clients of all ages. Kylee is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy, is a trained facilitator in Couples’ Communication, Prepare & Enrich, and is Level II Gottman certified to help those struggling in their personal relationships. She is EMDR and TF-CBT trained to help individuals with traumatic experiences reach their desired goals. Kylee is also certified in Pre-Natal, Infant, and Toddler Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up, able to treat children and families as early as in-utero.
Kylee currently serves on the Kansas Play Therapy Board as President-Elect, while also being a clinical supervisor for graduate students at a local university. She truly loves the mission of WTS and is extremely grateful to be a co-owner. Kylee regularly has her certified service dog, Rory, by her side who helps her intervene in her work with clients!

Brenda Brown, LCMFT
FOUNDER
Brenda E. Brown, LCMFT, is a dedicated mental health professional and Co-Founder of Wichita Therapy Stop. With a career in mental health that began in 2007, Brenda has a profound commitment to supporting individuals and families through therapeutic practices. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in Wichita, receiving the prestigious Sheldon Louthan Award for Outstanding Graduate Student in 2008. Brenda is also an esteemed member of Delta Kappa, an MFT Academic Honors Society, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Brenda's career in community mental health has been marked by extensive experience in crisis services and mental health assessments across multiple hospitals and counties. She served as the Clinical Director at Cowley County Mental Health Center in 2011 and later as the Interim Executive Director. In 2014, she joined Horizons Mental Health Center, where she led the Same Day Access Department and subsequently served as the Chief Operating Officer. Since 2021, Brenda has focused her expertise on private practice and the growth of Wichita Therapy Stop.
An AAMFT-approved supervisor since 2015, Brenda also contributes to the academic community as an Adjunct Faculty Member and Advisory Board member for the MFT program at Friends University. Her specialization in trauma work, particularly through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), reflects her deep commitment to helping individuals overcome their challenges.
Brenda's passion for her work is deeply personal; with a family background in emergency services, she has a unique understanding of the needs of first responders. Brenda works with a diverse range of clients, assisting them in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. She believes in the power of supportive guidance and is honored to help clients navigate their paths to healing and personal growth.

Bianca Rodriguez, LCMFT
I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. When I'm not working, I enjoy going to concerts, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. I have a bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University and a master’s degree from Friends University. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults.
I provide individual, couple and family therapy. I have treated anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, and many other diagnoses while practicing therapy. I utilize therapy approaches that are direct and will challenge you while also respecting your boundaries.
Whether you are a child struggling in school, a teen looking for independence, or an adult juggling life's challenges, I am here to help find ways to manage stress, process events, and better balance your mental health. I would love to be a part of your journey towards growth, healing, clarity, autonomy, and emotional connection.

Kristyn Hodny, LCMFT
I strongly believe that therapy helps give every individual the power to own who they are, and who they want to be. No matter where you are in your walk of life, I would love to be able to join you on your journey to healing. Life can bring a variety of situations that can often feel extremely overwhelming and defeating. Working towards healing from pain in the past, and finding one’s true authentic self is something that I strive to bring to all of my clients through my therapeutic process.
I work with a wide variety of clients from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you a struggling from anxiety and depression, marital issues, grief, life transition, self-harm or other areas of concern, I am here to help.

Samantha Griffin, LCMFT
Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Kansas. She received her Masters of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University in 2019. Samantha has worked in multiple mental health facilities before joining Wichita Therapy Stop.
Samantha believes that discomfort is a humanistic experience that leads to growth and freedom. She believes that all individuals have the capacity to make their own choices, be responsible for their actions, have autonomy, authenticity, creativity, be driven by the desire for self mastery, and explore self actualization. She believes that through these experiences clients can grow into well rounded people who can manage life’s ups and downs.
Her specialties for children are in the areas of child and adult transitions, parenting, PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy), Play Therapy techniques, family therapy, and she works frequently with Children age 2-6, Currently, Samantha is working towards her certification in play therapy, a therapeutic approach used with children and adolescents. Her specialties for adults are in the areas of self esteem, complex family dynamics or systems, parenting, PTSD, and clinical issues such as anxiety, depression, and mood. She enjoys working with adults who are challenged with depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex familial issues.

Lindsey McClung, LCMFT
I am a Wichita native and graduated from Friends University in 2018. I have been working in private practices since graduating. I enjoy working with adults by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Narrative Therapy. I love identifying the stories we tell ourselves and the impact those stories can have on our lives. I've worked with an array of diagnoses and concerns such as; anxiety, depression, PTSD, developmental delays, religious trauma, and more.

Kenya Sevilla, LPC
I work with individuals ages 5 and up, providing a supportive and collaborative space for growth and healing. I have experience working with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), grief, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I also incorporate Gottman Level One principles when working with couples to strengthen communication and connection.

Meagan Waltner, LMSW
Meagan has been working in mental health and social work spaces since 2013. Much of her career has focused on child advocacy and empathizing with their lived experiences. Starting as a forensic interviewer at Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center, she later became a caseworker for St. Francis Ministries. Meagan’s journey has brought her into the world of talk therapy, now having seen clients professionally for 4 years. She has worked with several concerns and areas for growth. These range from adjusting to the changes life throws our way to clinical diagnoses like ADHD. Some of her primary modes of therapy are CBT, Solutions Focused, Client-Centered, and Play Therapy. Meagan works with clients of all ages.

Caytlyn Conner, LMFT
I work with individuals, families, adolescents and children. My background, skills, and experience make me particularly well suited to work with young clients and adolescents.
My practice most often addresses issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationships, anger management, attachment, divorce, emotion regulation, parent-child relationships, sibling conflict, self-esteem, blended families, and adoption.
To address these concerns and more, the client and I develop collaboratively a unique and individualized treatment plan. Some of the approaches I have used include: cognitive behavioral, simulation-focused experiential, attachment-based, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and sand therapy

Kara Cooper, LMFT
I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and supportive environment where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can explore their emotions, learn effective communication strategies, and develop healthy, lasting relationships. My mission is to help my clients build resilience and flexibility, enabling them to face life's challenges and strengthen their relationships, even in difficult circumstances. With experience in addressing depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship distress, I am passionate about supporting clients through various life struggles.
As a former teacher, I also have unique expertise in working with children and adolescents, helping them navigate emotional and developmental challenges. Counseling from a place of personal experience, I understand the profound impact that life’s hardships can have. My own journey through years of infertility, becoming a mother through adoption, and later expanding my family with the help of a gestational carrier has shaped my approach to therapy. These experiences instilled in me a deep desire to walk with others through times of loss and uncertainty.
My preferred theoretical approaches are person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. I am a Level 1 Gottman certified therapist as well as a Gottman certified Bringing Baby Home educator. I’m eager to help couples improve their communication and intimacy.

Dan Bigelow, MS, T-LMFT
Dan Bigelow is a relationship-centered mental health professional with a rich background in education, communication, and systemic therapy. A 2025 graduate of Friends University’s Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program, Dan is an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and brings a lifelong passion for learning and helping others into every therapeutic encounter.
Before entering the field of mental health, Dan earned degrees in English from the University of Minnesota (2002) and Elementary Education from Friends University (2018). His experience as a fourth-grade teacher deeply shaped his understanding of the importance of relationships—not only with children, but with the families and systems that support them. That insight continues to guide his work with clients of all ages.
Dan works with children (ages 5 and up), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for individuals, Structural Family Therapy for families, and the Gottman Method for couples. He is currently expanding his theoretical knowledge into psychoanalytic approaches, driven by a curiosity for deeper emotional insight and systemic understanding.
Grounded in the belief that “life is about relationships,” Dan approaches therapy with empathy, clarity, and truth, fostering a collaborative spirit that honors each client’s unique journey.

Kaelyn Nichols, MS, T - LMFT
Hello, I’m Kaelyn Nichols. I am a therapist dedicated to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe healing happens through connection, trust, and a safe space where your story is honored and your voice is heard.
My clinical experience includes working with children as young as four, as well as teens, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. In my work, I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and elements of play therapy with kids and families. I am especially drawn to models that honor the uniqueness of each person’s journey.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in roles that deepened my skills in leadership, adaptability, and client care—from community case management to customer service management. These experiences taught me the importance of empathy, clear communication, and meeting people where they are.
Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply a space to be understood, my goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and compassionate environment where growth and healing feel possible. Christina Davenport, Student Therapist
I am a student therapist currently completing my final year of my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I work with individuals aged 13 and older and am passionate about supporting people through various stages of life. I work with clients navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and identity exploration. I am also passionate about working with individuals navigating relationship issues and strive to create a safe and collaborative space where healing and growth can happen. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am committed to trauma-informed care and am actively engaged in ongoing training to provide the most supportive and compassionate approach possible.
I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all individuals. As an LGBTQ+ ally and someone actively working toward cultural competence, I value each person’s unique story and identity.
